Crossing flights
During our flight back from Barcelona, the pilot came on the intercom to say there was another Delta flight visible off the right side of the plane. I grabbed my camera and headed to a window but couldn't get a clear shot. Another man with a window seat got a great shot of the Boeing 767 heading from Rome to Atlanta and then contacted the pilot of that flight for the return shot he took of our plane. I don't usually get all geeked out about plane stuff, but this was pretty cool. At about 35,000 feet in elevation, the planes were separated by about 1,000 feet vertically and 1 mile horizontally.
